About Isha

I have known I wanted to use my voice to stand up to bullies since I was a child. It was a natural decision then to become a lawyer who defends employees against the bullies who diminish their livelihoods. I fight every day for the very basic proposition that you shouldn’t be mistreated at work because of who you are – the color of your skin, the country from which you come, how many years you’ve spent on this earth, your sex, the gender with which you identify, whom you love, or the disabilities you may have.

Work is central to our lives and very few of us can be without it. When my parents immigrated to this country with very little in their pockets, they instilled in me the belief that, if you work hard, good things will come to you. I advocate to make that belief a reality in a world where, sadly, inequities are inherent in the workplace.

I have dedicated my entire career to holding employers accountable for violating federal, state, and local laws against workplace discrimination. I represent entry-level workers and C-Suite executives alike, thriving under the challenge and pressure associated with hard-fought litigation from the first unemployment hearing to taking a case to a trial verdict. My practice also includes representing clients at mediations before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, settling wage disputes, negotiating employment agreements and severance packages, and advocating at the appellate level when I believe the courts need persuasion to get the law right.

Regardless of the challenge at hand, I strive to provide each of my clients with a responsive, transparent, and results-driven process that offers solutions when they are often their most vulnerable. When employers do wrong, employees should be fairly compensated for their financial and emotional losses. It is my honor to facilitate that process. To me, there is nothing more professionally rewarding than providing employees with peace of mind and every once in a while, a piece of justice.
