About Alison

Alison is the managing partner at Brenton Legal. Before joining the firm, she served for over six years as the General Counsel for the Broward County Clerk of Courts, a constitutionally established office, with 500+ employees and annual revenue averaging $1 billion.  In this role, she managed complex legal matters, including those filed in federal and state courts.

Beyond litigation, Alison provided strategic legal counsel across the operational, financial, technology, and human resource divisions of the office. In 2023, Alison was recognized by the Florida Court Clerks and Comptrollers for her drafting contributions to the Best Practices implemented statewide.

Alison started her legal career at a prominent Fort Lauderdale based law firm, where she handled civil and employment litigation and trial matters, including securing a seven-figure award in a gender discrimination, sexual harassment, and retaliation case.
